Check Your Thermostat
Check Your Air Filter
A dirty A/C filter can dramatically affect your air conditioner. Thankfully, it’s almost always easy to check and even replace an air filter yourself. Your A/C filter can usually be accessed via the utility closet inside your home or office. Inspect and make sure it is not dirty. If your filter is medium gray colored, then it’s ready to be discarded and replaced with a new one.
FYI: There’s no standard size for air conditioning filters. You can find the size of yours printed on the side of your old filter. If you frequently forget to replace your A/C filter, then you can have air filters shipped to you automatically from Amazon at a time interval of your choosing (typically every 2-3 months is good).
